Born and raised in the Midwest, Erin now calls Chicago home. Erin has effortless and impeccable style. Maybe that's why she doesn't fall in any one particular style of wedding photography so easily. She doesn't focus on trends or labels, but rather aspires to capture your wedding with honesty and sincerity.  She will not over pose or direct you in a way that feels inauthentic or uncomfortable, documenting your day at it unfolds. The resulting images are simply beautiful and beautifully you. She is an avid collector of contemporary photography and her photographic heroes are Viviane Sassen and Larry Sultan. Her love for photography keeps her deeply involved in the Chicago photography community. She is the Director of Operations of Filter Photo, a non-profit arts organization that focuses on professional development practices for fine art and documentary photographers and hosts the annual Filter Photo Festival. She also has a serious case of wanderlust and this year’s list includes Mexico, England, France and Peru.
